looking for someone to help out in a true technical sense –
webdesign, facebook applications, google widgets, creative
ways to showcase our audio & video, our website etc…
We’re
also getting a new server which will have PHP/MySQL and will
be installing a Content Management System like Joomla!, so if
you know that kind of knowledge would help too…

“New
Marketing” Developer/Consultant for 94.9 CHRW &
tvWestern.ca
We
are looking for motivated individuals who want to develop
their web-design and technology skills while creating online
marketing and presentation solutions for radio and
video/television outlets. This position may require the
use of sound, animation, video, web-based applications and
more. Programs available at CHRW/tvWestern.ca include a
range of audio, video and web applications such as
Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Adobe Audition, Final Cut Pro etc… Web
design skills are important – please include a URL to
showcase your web design skills.
You
would design, develop and implement online marketing and
social media promotional vehicles with the goal of increasing
CHRW & tvWestern.ca audience listening, viewing and
participation levels. You would have wide latitude on
what you would be able to do in this position as it really
depends upon the skills you bring. You could do such
things as: create electronic newsletters, maintaining
online social environments in facebook, creating recruiting
and cross-promotional campaigns, developing facebook
applications or Google widgets, or full-fledged website
overhauls. You would be able to canvass volunteers and
staff at CHRW & tvWestern.ca for some assistance.
Development of PHP/MySQL applications or work with
content management systems such as Joomla would be an asset.
You
would work in a fun, interactive environment, which is very
open to experimenting with new and traditional media.
You would be exposed to the same “real-life” issues and
problems facing all media today and would be able to create
solutions that would be useful in all media.
