Hello .. Dwayne Errington (guitar) here. My first instinct is to pretend I'm someone else writing about The New boss, but that's just sneaky. We are a new hand from London Ontario formed within the last year or so. All of us have played with other bands before combining our rock and roll powers as "The New Boss" to take over the world (or the local bar). Lead vocalist/guitarist Jason Drury writes and sings many of the songs. I also write and sing my own compositions. Jamie Pigeault (drums) writes great tunes but leaves the singing to Jason and I. Finally, we have Jay Davis on bass guitar and backing vocals. We haven't keen able to squeeze any new songs out of him yet. Our music can be described as guitar driven rock, ranging from craftily written pop tunes to feedback drenched heaviness. We have many influences, including the guitar greats such as Page and Hendrix, bands like R.E.M., U.2., Weezer and Radiohead, and of coarse the beloved Beatles and Stones just to name a few. Collectively the members of our band have performed in clubs and venues all over Canada with the odd dip down to the states. Currently we are writing and recording in our studio and playing select dates loyally.
