First, what happened to last year's donations? 94.9 CHRW listeners, fans and supporting businesses raised just over $9,200. New equipment included turntables and a mixer were installed in the on-air studio, the 70's style furniture is being updated, PMD670 Flash recorders for the spoken word department, a new wireless mic for the sports department (allows us to have two sideline interviewers on at the same time). The money donated by you was augmented by funds from the University Students' Council.

This year your donations will continue to improve on-air facilities and our production studio, investing in new equipment which will help record bands and artists at CHRW studios, do remote broadcasts from Western and London including broadcasting from festivals and recording performances for the website etc...
