94.9 CHRW - More Volunteer Opportunities

>>> My name is Grant Stein and I manage 94.9 CHRW and tvwestern.ca. I'm looking for volunteers interested in taking on one of these tasks...if you are a student, you might be able to get school credit for taking one of these on. Ask a professor/teacher or department head.

1. Creating on online history of music in London - it would be somewhat like wikepedia with links from artists names to material on the London Music Archive (and elsewhere) and would also contain audio interviews with artists. Perhaps broken down in different formats of music? Jazz & Blues, Rock & Punk, videos etc...

2. Producing a TV show to run on Roger's Cable - you would be responsible for the 13 week run of shows

3. An editor for 94.9 CHRW's 25th Anniversary Magazine

4. An archivist who would dig through our print and audio tape material in order to create a space on our website and in the station

5. Website development assistance

- would like a music review section where volunteers could post CD/show reviews

- would like to create an MP3 player like on myspace that could be easily updated with multiple tracks

- other ideas

If any of these sound interesting or you have ideas that you'd like to implement using 94.9 CHRW or tvwestern.ca as your guinea pig...let me know and I'll consider them...
